Laboratory Services

Taney County Health Department provides laboratory testing with standing physician order for the following laboratory procedures:

• Syphillis (RPR)
• HIV
• Hepatitis A (as indicated with CD approval)
• Glucose (finger-stick)
• Hemoglobin (finger-stick)
• Cholesterol (finger-stick)

In addition to the above tests, Taney County Health Department contracts with Quest Diagnostic Laboratories to provide cost-effective laboratory test for clients with written physician order. Currently this service is offered at both locations by appointment only.

Clients will be charged a fee based on the lab cost and a $10.00 draw fee for services. Clients are required to pay for testing before tests are completed. Laboratory fees will be determined according to physician order and fees charged to TCHD by Quest.
