Taney County Health Department is providing/facilitating the administration of COVID-19 vaccine Pfizer/Moderna booster for
ages 12 and up (Pfizer) and 18 and up (Moderna).
COVID-19 vaccinations are provided to those 5 – 11 years of age by appointment only. Call 417.334.4544 ext. 590 for an appointment.
Are you moderately to severely immunocompromised, and needing a 3rd dose of Pfizer (12 yrs and up) or Moderna (18 yrs and up) COVID-19 vaccine? If it has been at least 28 days since your 2nd dose of Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, call 417.334.4544 ext 590 to make an appointment.
COVID-19 VACCINE BOOSTER CLINICS
A single dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent (Original and Omicron BA.4/BA.5) is FDA-authorized for use in individuals 12 years of age and older as a single booster dose administered at least 2 months after either: 1) Completion of a primary vaccination with any authorized or approved monovalent* COVID-19 vaccine or 2) Receipt of the most recent booster dose with any authorized and approved monovalent COVID-19 vaccine. *Monovalent refers to any authorized and approved COVID-19 vaccine that contains or encodes the spike protein of only the original SARS-CoV-2 virus.
In other words, you must have completed at least the COVID-19 primary series including: 2 doses of Moderna, 2 doses of Pfizer, or any doses of Johnson and Johnson or approved combination. It must be at least 2 months since your final primary dose or your last booster. Please call the Taney County Health Department with any related questions.
