Executive Assistant

The Taney County Health Department is seeking a part-time, 24 hours per week, non-exempt Executive Assistant.  Responsibilities include providing direct support to the director and leadership team, customer service, responding to correspondence, manager calendars, edits and proofreads documents, and other advanced administrative work.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.  A bachelor’s degree and 2 years administrative clerk experience is preferred.  Strong customer service skills, excellent computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information, organized and multitasker needed.  Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information. The ideal applicant would need to be a team player, make our values a top priority, be able to self-start projects, work independently with minimal guidance, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

 TCHD provides this position a benefits package which includes paid vacation, sick and holiday pay and contribution to the LAGERS Retirement system (currently contributing 18 % of employee salary)

Accounting Manager

The Taney County Health Department is a thriving Local Public Health Department located in Branson and Forsyth Missouri.  TCHD is committed to the community and to its employees. The TCHD leadership team is committed to providing a work environment that provides staff with communication, transparency, collaboration, forward thinking, staff development, trust, and fun.

The Taney County Health Department will be accepting resumes for a full time, 40 hours a week, exempt Accounting Manager.  Duties include: management of daily fiscal operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, policies and procedure.  Other duties include budget development and monitoring, oversight of medical billing, leads annual audit, and grant reporting.

Minimum requirements

Requirements for this position include graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting.  In lieu of a degree, 5 or more years of governmental accounting experience would be considered.  A CPA is preferred, however not required. At least 5 years’ experience in accounting and 2 years of experience in management or supervisory role.  Experience in governmental accounting practices is preferred, however not required.

TCHD provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes paid vacation (80 hours), holidays (10 Holiday and 3 Floating Holidays), and sick time (96 hours); LAGERS Retirement system (currently contributing 18 %) and 100% Paid Health Insurance for the employee.

Spanish-English Bilingual Health Educator

The Taney County Health Department is a thriving Local Public Health Department located in Branson and Forsyth Missouri.  TCHD is committed to the community and to its employees. The TCHD leadership team is committed to providing a work environment that provides staff with communication, transparency, collaboration, forward thinking, staff development, trust, and fun.

The Taney County Health Department will be accepting resumes for a full time, 40 hours a week, non-exempt Bilingual Health Educator. Duties include ability to speak and write fluently in both English and in a Latin American dialect of Spanish without hesitation, translation and interpreter services for our Clinical and WIC programs, car safety seat installer, create and conduct health and safety education and trainings, and attend health fairs and community events.

Minimum requirements
Requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in public health, health education, health promotion or a related field.  Must obtain Spanish Medical Interpreter certification within the first 90 days of hire (employer paid)
